Our Process

A practical path from site review to lower-cost power.

Peachtree Energy manages the assessment, engineering, agreement, permitting, installation, interconnection, and ongoing operations needed to deliver a behind-the-meter solar project.

Four steps

The process is designed to keep the customer's burden low.

1

Step 1

Site assessment

We analyze utility bills, facility layout, energy consumption, and solar potential to identify projected cost savings.

2

Step 2

Custom proposal

We prepare a custom proposal for solar and/or battery solutions sized for the facility load profile and physical footprint. If the project cannot save money, it does not move forward.

3

Step 3

Agreement and permitting

We finalize a simple 15-25 year PPA, then manage permits, utility approvals, and interconnection agreements on your behalf.

4

Step 4

Installation and savings

Professional installation is delivered through Radiance Solar with minimal disruption. Once energized, reduced energy bills begin immediately.

Utility collaboration

Built to work with the serving utility.

Peachtree and Georgia Power partner to provide behind-the-meter solar and battery storage services to commercial and industrial clients.

A Georgia Power partnership is not required for every Peachtree project. We tailor the approach to the site, the customer's needs, and the serving utility—whether that means working with Georgia Power, coordinating with another utility, or using a project structure that does not require a utility partnership.

Power Purchase Agreement

Clean energy without owning the solar asset.

The PPA is the structure that allows customers to benefit from on-site generation without taking on capital cost, asset ownership, or operational burden.

  1. 1Peachtree builds, owns, operates, and maintains the system.
  2. 2The system is installed on or near the customer property.
  3. 3The customer buys the electricity produced at a pre-agreed price per kWh.
  4. 4The customer pays no upfront capital cost for the asset or any ongoing maintenance.

PPA benefits

No capital required

Peachtree Energy owns the solar asset. Customers purchase the electricity it produces through a 15-25 year Power Purchase Agreement.

Price certainty

Lock in energy savings for 15-25 years, insulating your business from utility volatility and protecting operating margins.

Turnkey execution

From site assessment and design to permitting, construction, interconnection, and operations, Peachtree manages every detail.

Asset owner alignment

Because Peachtree owns the asset long-term, system performance and customer value stay closely aligned throughout the term.

Full O&M included

Peachtree monitors and maintains each system so customers avoid ongoing operational complexity and maintenance cost.

Sustainability goals

Meet carbon reduction commitments with verified renewable energy and clean credentials that do not burden your facilities team.
