Peachtree Project I

8 MW ground-mount array

Ground-mounted solar array at the Kia Georgia plant in West Point, Georgia

Located at Kia Georgia's manufacturing plant in West Point, Peachtree Project I brings utility-scale solar directly to one of Georgia's flagship automotive campuses. By turning available land into a long-term source of clean electricity, the array strengthens the plant's energy strategy and helps Kia advance toward its goal of operating on 100% renewable energy.

  • Projected annual production of 12,767,018 kWh
  • Built with Philadelphia Solar 640 watt bifacial modules
  • Enough annual energy to power approximately 1,230 average U.S. homes for a year

Utility collaboration

Georgia Power was directly involved in Peachtree Project I as part of its partnership with Peachtree to provide behind-the-meter solar services to commercial and industrial clients.

Development focus

Project profiles Peachtree is built to evaluate.

Behind-the-meter solar

Commercial rooftops

Distributed solar systems designed around the real load profile, roof conditions, and operating needs of commercial and industrial facilities.

On-site generation

Ground-mounted systems

Projects that use available property to deliver competitively priced energy without requiring the customer to own the solar asset.

Strategic partnership

Solar canopies

Canopy opportunities supported through Peachtree Energy's partner network, including Quest Canopies.

Feasibility review

Battery options

Battery sizing and savings analysis can be evaluated where rate structure, capacity payments, and facility operations create a clear use case.

Project inputs

Clear information creates a better proposal.

Peachtree starts by understanding the customer's current situation, energy usage, utility provider, and goals.

How Peachtree can help

Engineering and design

System concepts are developed around facility load, footprint, and project economics using solar design and production modeling.

Savings comparison

Customers can compare current utility rate exposure over time against the proposed PPA rate structure.

Operations planning

The project includes long-term monitoring, maintenance, and performance accountability after installation.
